Webasto heaters are the ideal way to heat your boat. These diesel heaters will heat your cabin space quickly. They are also simple to regulate. There are two main types of system; Webasto air heaters and Webasto water heaters. Most yachts up to 40 feet will tend to have an air heating system, whereas most narrow-boats and dutch barges, for example, will choose water heating systems.
Webasto air heaters provide continuous heating power output, via stepless modulation, for increased efficiency. The heater operates quietly, while consuming minimal electrical power and fuel. We will supply you with the full kit required for your specific installation
Webasto water heaters work on the principle of heating a sealed water coolant system that in turn is pumped around water pipes in your boat. Heat exchangers such as radiators, towel rails or blower matrixes are then used to transfer heat into the cabin(s). This type of Webasto heater can also heat your domestic hot water by using a calorifier tank and/or plate heat exchangers. A water heater system can be simply described as a diesel-fuelled version of a domestic central heating system.
A Webasto air conditioning system provides a cooling solution for all sizes and types of craft. Blue Cool systems are raw-water cooled and offer “reverse cycle” heating function as standard. The systems are available in 230v or 115v and range from 5,000 BTU to 572,000 BTU.
